Common Questions

If your question(s) are not here, please reach out— I’d love to connect with you.

Do you do virtual/online or in-person sessions?

I offer both in-person sessions at 2401 S Downing, Denver 80210, and virtual/online sessions through a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform (video call).

What is your rate or fee for sessions?

My fees are $160 for a 50 minute session for individuals, and $175 for a 50 minute session for relationships and couples.

I have a limited number of reduced fee spots available for those in need. If you are interested in a reduced fee, please ask me if I have availability. I ask folks to consider class, income, and intersecting identities when choosing a reduced fee in the range I offer.

If you are able to pay the full fee, please know you are supporting others in our community that need a reduced fee for therapy. Thank you!

What is the consultation call?

The 15-20 minute consult call is complimentary and the call’s purpose is for us to explore if we are the right fit for therapy together. We can get to know each other a bit, I can learn what you are looking for in therapy, answer any questions you may have, and we can sense the energy of our connection. I will always be honest and if I am not right fit for what you are looking for, I’m happy to offer you referrals for the best fit. Connection with your therapist is essential! I want to support the therapeutic relationship that is best for YOU, and no pressure or expectation to schedule a session if that is not me.

How long are your sessions?

My standard session length is generally 50 minutes, however I offer extended session lengths upon request. If you are interested in sessions longer than 50 minutes, please ask on our consult call and I’m happy to explore it with you.

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not take insurance at this time. I am an out of network provider with insurance companies. If you have out of network mental health benefits with your insurance provider, I am happy to provide you with superbills/receipts upon request. I also accept HSA/FSA cards.

How does scheduling work and what is your cancellation policy?

I see clients Monday - Thursday with some late afternoon and evening hours. If we decide we are a good fit to try out a session together after our consult call, you can reach out to me via email or text to schedule our first session. I schedule new clients on a recurring weekly or biweekly basis to establish care and build our relationship. Frequency of sessions can always be adjusted to support your needs throughout our work together.

To provide my best presence and care to everyone I work with, I have a 48 hour late cancellation policy. To account for life, illness, emergency, and being human, I offer everyone an annual waiver to the late cancellation policy. Additionally, if we are able to reschedule a late cancelled appointment within 2 business days, we can forgo the late cancellation fee. If you’ve already used the annual waiver and we are not able to reschedule, the late cancellation fee is the full fee for the appointment.
